Frequently Asked Questions

What are the different types of classes you offer?

We offer a wide variety of classes exploring multiple yogic philosophies and disciplines. Explore our many offerings here.

What should I bring to class?

All you need is you! To maintain optimal cleanliness, outside mats are not permitted. We provide fully sanitized mats, mat towels, and sweat towels free of charge. Students are permitted and encouraged to bring any other props to better support their practice (towels, blocks, straps, bolsters etc.).

Where can I park?

For most evening and weekend classes, street parking is typically available on our block of Forbes Ave between Smithfield + Wood Streets. Alternative street parking can be found on Smithfield Street, near the intersection with Forbes Ave adjacent to the former Kaufmann's building. Should you pass the studio without finding a space, make a left onto Wood Street. Check the right hand side of Wood Street for an open spot or make the next left on Fourth Ave. Additional parking is available on the left hand side of Fourth Street for the next 2 blocks.

Additional information, including $3 weekend + night parking options, can be found here.

What is the protocol for COVID-19?

At the Aither studio, we are trusting science. Face coverings are no longer mandated when in the Studio. Individuals should follow current CDC guidelines, science, and their personal level of comfort when deciding to mask.

How do I sign up for class?

Check out our Schedule and sign up for classes here.

What is your cancellation policy?

We’re working hard to maintain a balance between reduced class sizes and accessible pricing. We ask that you cancel at least two hours prior to the scheduled class start to give us the ability to offer your spot to another yogi. Any less notice and that spot can’t be filled by another yogi. Late cancellations with less than two hours notice and no-shows will result in a forfeiture of your pass.

Do I have to pre-register?

Due to limited class sizes, we are requesting that all yogis sign up for class at least 20 minutes before so our instructors have ample time to set up the room with a minimum of 6 feet between mats.

What is the temperature of the studio? Are your classes heated?

Our studio is targeted to reach a comfortable "heated" space. Class begins between 80-84 degrees with a rise in temperature as we move our bodies, resulting in temperatures reaching 85-90 throughout class. This temperature is warm enough to get your muscles loose and ready to move, but not too hot that you will be uncomfortable flowing with your mask.

Do you offer beginner classes?

We work to make our classes accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in your yoga journey. Our instructors are trained to offer modifications to meet the needs of every yogi.

How should I contact the studio if I have a question not answered here?

Please email us at cleanyoga@aither.yoga for prompt replies. As we’re often cleaning the studio or practicing with our yogis, our phone number connects directly to voicemail. We make every effort to frequently check voicemail messages whereas emails quickly reach multiple members of our team.
